** LESSON: Are weather apps and websites reliable? **

Beware that weather apps and websites use raw data from weather models, i.e. without intervention from weather forecasters.

Output significantly vary from run to run and should therefore be used with great caution or disregarded completely.

To produce forecasts, I look at various model outputs and gauge the most likely outcome based on knowledge and experience.

Human intervention does add a great value to forecasting by looking at patterns/set ups and applying experience, raw model data does not have this capability.
